MAKE A GIFT NOW

As the season of Thanksgiving is upon us, we are reminded how grateful we are to be part of this community. St. Clare is more than just a school and parish – it is a place that brings people together. It is a place that encourages curiosity and generosity, that fosters friendship and kindness. St. Clare opens its doors to its neighbors and welcomes everyone in. As we continue to move forward from a global pandemic and worldwide uncertainty, we are reminded more than ever that community and connection is what makes this life meaningful.

For more than a century, St. Clare School has provided students with a high-quality Catholic education. Since the first classroom doors opened in 1914, St. Clare has served to enrich students intellectually, emotionally and spiritually. Today, we are steadfast in this mission.

Over the past year, St. Clare has worked hard to bring back our cherished community and family programs. With a renewed focus on togetherness, we have come back as one. We returned to our beloved yearlong K-8 School “Family Groups”, allowing students to cross grade levels and build meaningful relationships. We saw a return to in-person events like Family Bingo Night, the Annual Dragon Dash Turkey Trot, Back-to-School Night, the Annual Middle School Musical, our Annual Auction and our beloved St. Clare School Christmas Program here on campus. We watched our after-school enrichment programs completely re-open bringing science, theatre and band back to full capacity. And finally, we kicked off this Fall Season with our Annual St. Clare One Mass, One Family – School & Parish Picnic.

Join Us Again

Your generosity and gifts to the St. Clare Annual Fund make this programming and whole child education possible. Your support ensures a strong future for St. Clare School and its students, providing the financial security and resources to support outstanding education, and future sustainability of our mission.

Your Gifts are Doubled

For the last several years Portland philanthropist Joe Weston has funded a challenge match to encourage giving to both the St. Clare School Endowment Fund and our Tuition Assistance Fund. Last year, your giving, in support of these key funds, allowed St. Clare to receive the maximum amounts matched by the Weston Foundation — $45,000 for our endowment and $35,000 for tuition assistance. Now, for the first time in years, the match amount has increased to $50,000 for endowment and $40,000 for tuition assistance.

We appreciate your consideration of a gift to the St. Clare Annual Fund and invite you to give generously knowing your gift is making a difference in the lives of our children and the community which we all call home.
