Technology at St. Clare

Technology at St. Clare has been greatly expanding. We have taken on several projects to help improve the reliability and capability of our systems.

Auction 2010
Thank you to all who contributed to making the mobile lab paddle bid a huge success. We were able to achieve our goal of a set of 32 Netbooks with Windows 7, a laser printer, and a secure storage and charging cart. The computers have already been out for the students to use and have been an exciting addition to our technology. The mobile lab provides a great deal of flexibility in how teachers are able to implement technology into their classrooms and also doubles the amount of computer time available to students. The launch has been successful but has come with a great deal of fine tuning. There have been a few bumps along the way - just ask the sixth graders how long it took for an entire class to print full-page artwork or ask the seventh graders how they became experts in deploying the Google Chrome browser. Overall, we have made adjustments so that the mobile lab will be a great asset for our students for years to come.
