Welcome to Seventh Grade!

7th Grade Homeroom Teacher: Ms. Mary Ellen Harmeyer, mharmeyer@stclarepdx.org

Hi, my name is Ms. Harmeyer!

I am excited to be the seventh grade homeroom and middle school language arts teacher. I'm beginning my 11th year at St. Clare, and I am looking forward to another exciting and challenging year. Seventh grade is different from sixth grade: the students are older, wiser, more mature, and more responsible. The seventh grade report card is important to high school entrance. I’ll try to make the work and time fun, interesting, and challenging. Seventh graders need to approach the work and responsibilities with organization, maturity, and wisdom.
