Meet Mrs. Winningham

Hello, my name is Shannon Winningham and I teach kindergarten at St. Clare.  This is my first year at St. Clare and I feel very blessed to be a part of a wonderful, faith-based learning community.

I am married and have two children, Grace (age 8) and Luke (age 4).  I attended  Southern Oregon University in Ashland, Oregon and completed my Master of Education degree at Portland State University in 1997.  I am an experienced teacher with a passion for teaching children to read!  Our family values Catholic education...my husband works at La Salle and our daughter attends Holy Family Catholic School.  When I am not in the classroom, I enjoy traveling, attending Oregon Duck football games, reading, sewing, cooking, and shopping!
