Student of the Week

Every child is an important person! Spotlighting children in special ways during the school year emphasizes to students and their friends that they are valued. Every child in first grade will have the opportunity to be “Student of the Week.”

Students will fill out our Student of the Week poster, and it will be displayed in the classroom along with photos, awards, special treasures, or anything else that represents that child and his/her interests. These things will be shared on Fridays during our special “Student of the Week” presentation.

Each student of the week will get to take home our classroom pet for the week.  At the end of the week they will fill out a page in our pets journal and include some pictures of their week together.
