We are going to continue our program this year called the Battle of the Books. Students in fifth through eighth grades will be participating in this program. Those interested students were given a list of books last spring to read over the next 11 months. Many students got their reading started over the summer. In order to take part in the competition they must read seven or eight books from the list depending on what grade they are in. We will then form teams and create trivia questions based on the books and have a friendly competition between the 5th and the 6th/ 7th/8th grade teams from the Madeleine. The BOB will take place the end of May so there is still plenty of time to read the books and prepare for the Battle of the Books 2011/2012! We will staying here at St Clare for the competition this year. The reading lists are posted above.
Please contact me with any questions.
