What have you been up to?
Isn’t this the million dollar question! Well, if we’re doing our jobs right, we’ve
been doing a lot. Minutes,
once approved, are posted on this website.
We send out periodic letters with the Tuesday mailing to address certain
issues or to highlight the activities of a given committee. We don’t release working papers until they
are finalized and adopted by the council.
When they are, you can find them here (adopted
proposals), or they’ll be referenced in the minutes.
The annual flow of our work goes something like this:
September & October:
Committees ramp up with their work plans which are derived from the
School Improvement Plan, Parish and Quad Council planning, and SAC
evaluation. The Development Committee
specifically focuses on the Children in our Lives luncheon.
November & December:
The Finance Committee begins their work in earnest as budget deadlines
near. Marketing steps up as we look
towards our annual Open House for incoming students.
January & February:
Finance Committee locks in our budget and presents to the school
community at the annual Town Hall, and to the parish Administrative
Council. Marketing zeros in on Open
House and registration.
March & April:
Working towards completion of committee goals. Beginning our New Member
Process, and the SAC self evaluation. Committee structures are looked at for
effectiveness.
May & June:
Orientation of new members.
Evaluations complete. Annual
goals, committees and workplans are outlined for the following year.
