SPRING BASEBALL & SOFTBALL REGISTRATION

Registration is now open for the Mr. Sylvania Little League’s 2006 spring baseball and softball season.  MSLL offers programs for children age 5 to 15 at all skill levels.  MSLL offers both softball and baseball programs.  To register, go to www.msll.org and click on “Register Here”.  Registering online saves you $10 per registration.  HURRY, registration for kids age 0 and over closes February 3.  Registration for ages 8 and below closes February 24.

TRYOUTS: All baseball players who are league age 10 or older and have not played one year of majors baseball must attend a one hour tryout on either February 5th or February 12th at Jackson Middle School.  If you cannot attend tryouts, you must let us know before tryouts so we can make arrangements.  Players league age 9 may tryout if they want to be considered for AAA or Majors.  Softball will not be doing tryouts this year.  For more information go to www.msll.org.

PADDLE BID = FINANCIAL AID!

This year’s Paddle Bid will allow the school to distribute more financial aid than at any other time.  We are encouraging parents to apply for tuition aid by requesting a F.A.C.T.S application form through the office.  F.A.C.T.S. will determine a priority list of need.  The Archdiocese will review it first to see how much they can allocate, and then the list comes to us.  The Finance Committee of the SAC will review each application which will remain anonymous as all names are removed.  This might just be the answer to prayer for each family who needs some assistance to make tuition payments less of a worry.  We are opening the door to make Catholic education an advantage for all those who desire it.  Please consider applying!
