ENROLLMENT CONTINUES TO CLIMB!
Our enrollment continues to inch upward. We are looking at full classes in second, fourth, fifth and sixth. We have only four more openings in kindergarten, anticipating those spots to be filled shortly. Openings next year look like they will be in grades 1, 3, 7 and 8. Keep spreading the word and thanks for all you are doing to promote our great school, wonderful kids and excellent faculty!
PENNIES FOR THE POOR
We will be kicking off our campaign for
"Pennies for the Poor" beginning tomorrow, Ash Wednesday.
Please have your child bring in their pennies and deposit them into their
classroom jug. Of course we will also accept any silver or paper
money as well. We have set a school goal of $1800 or $200 per
classroom. We will be keeping a thermometer to watch our
progress as we inch closer to our goal.
We will be needing the pennies transported to the
Downtown Chapel at the end of the drive so if you are so inclined to help
out in this area please contact Mrs. Cree or Mrs. Kollars and let them
know you can help.
TIME IS RUNNING OUT FOR F.A.C.T.S. PLEASE
APPLY!
We would still like to encourage all those who
might need tuition assistance to pick up a form from the office.
Submission for the application and fee needs to be turned into F.A.C.T.S.
before April 1st. We are anticipating more families in need this
year but will only be able to help if you apply. Please don't
wait to take advantage of our "Adopt-a-Student" program.
All information is kept in the strictest confidence. Please let us
help if you need it. If you have any questions or concerns please
contact Sr. Moe at moe@aracnet.com or 503.244.7600.

WaMoola for Schools
St. Clare has received a check in the amount of
$169.23 from Washington Mutual from the WaMoola for Schools
program. The program allows you to select St. Clare as a recipient
for points earned every time you make a purchase with your enrolled
Washington Mutual Debit MasterCard or Visa Check Card. At the end
of the calendar year, points are converted to cash and a check is issued
to our school. There are no restrictions on these funds so we are
allowed to use them where the greatest need may be.
If you would like to enroll in this program, go to
wamu.com or call 1-800-788-7000 to enroll. Thanks to all of you who
have made St. Clare School
your WaMoola choice!
