KINDERGARTEN SCHEDULE CHANGES
* May 2 - All Kindergarten attend in the PM (Speech Festival &
Grandparents Day) All are welcome to hear individual
presentations from 8.30am-9.30am approx., Mrs. Maher will be there.
* May 15 - All Kindergarten attend in the AM (Mother's Day Prayer
Service)
* May 25 - All Kindergarten attend in the AM (Kindergarten Mass)
APRIL 24TH & 25TH CONFERENCES
Confirmation slips for those requesting conferences
were sent home last Friday. If you requested a conference and have
not received a confirmation please contact the school office.
REMINDERS
* Currently we have 06-07 openings in the following grades:
Kindergarten, First, Third, Fourth, Seventh & Eighth. Please
encourage your friends and family members to contact St. Clare School to fill out a registration form.
* If you do not recall if you pre-registered for BASC next year,
contact the school office to find out.
* May 31st - Parents of ALL eighth grade students should have all
tuition and fees paid in full. Report cards and diplomas will be
held until all fees and tuition have been collected.

"FINDING A BALANCE: CURRENT RESEARCH ON
THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN BOYS AND GIRLS IN THE
CLASSROOM"
The St. Clare Parent-Teacher Council and the
Learning Specialist Program would like to invite you to a parent
education night for St. Clare school, preschool and parish
families. Mrs. Colleen O'Mahony, St. Clare School Learning
Specialist, will be the presenter, Monday, May 8th in the school
cafeteria from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. Child care will be provided with
advanced registration. Thank you to all the families who filled out
surveys on parent education. We really appreciate your feedback and
incorporated it into our plans for this school year and next.
May/June Lunch Menus - notice for 8th grade
students and kindergarteners
A heads up for May-June Lunch menus. Lunch
menus are being sent home on today and are due back no later than
Wednesday, April 26th at 3:00 p.m. If for some reason you do not
receive one, you can always download it from the web. It's always
located under "forms".
* In order to introduce kindergarteners to our hot lunch program they
may order lunch on May 4th and June 14th. Both are hot dog
days.
* Eighth graders need to make a note not to order lunch
on Tuesday, June 6th (8th grade field trip); Thursday, June 8th
(Graduation Day) and Wednesday, June 14th (they should be planning for
Freshman year).
FITNESS CHALLENGE COUNTDOWN!
10 days to go until the big run! I hope
everyone is working hard on collecting those Fitness Challenge pledges.
We will be having one more Money Jump/Hoop contest for the kids to get
them “PUMPED” up for the event. Our last one is this Friday, April 21st.
We are looking for Parent Volunteers for the day of
the event. If you are interested in helping out for the day or for the
time frame that your children will be running, please email me for details!
