Sr. Moe is
serving on the Accreditation Team for O'Hara Grade School in Eugene, Oregon
this year so she was not in to do a Principal's Corner this week.
In her absence
here are a few upcoming events and reminders for you:
CONFERENCE LETTERS
Conference request
forms will be included in your Tuesday Packets today. You will also
be able to download them from the web under "forms" should you
need to. Requests should be turned back into the school office no
later than Wednesday, October 5th. We will get your confirmation
date and times sent back to you no later than Wednesday, October
12th. This year only 6th through 8th grade students will conduct
their conferences with teachers and parents. K - 5th graders will
not unless it is specially requested by the teacher.
SCHOOL HEALTH SCREENING AND PICTURE DAY
The Health
Screening and Picture day for all children will be on Wednesday, October
12th. You will be receiving some picture information notices in
your packet today. Order forms will be sent home next
Wednesday. If you child misses picture day because of illness, they
may have their picture taken on the retake day. Retake day will be
determined at a later date. Having their picture taken on retake
day will mean that they will not be in the class picture.
The Health
Screening will be from 8:30 to 1:30 p.m. Volunteers are needed to
help perform vision screening. It's a fun way to interact with all
students at St. Clare School.

Hot Lunch Menus for November/December
I missed the boat
for getting in the October dates the lunch menus would go home and when
they were due back to the office. So, menus will be sent home on
October 18th and are due back by Thursday, October 27th at the end of the
school day. You may also download the menu from our website.
SALLY FOSTER ORDERS
Sally Foster
orders are due no later than this Friday, September 30th. Please be
sure to turn them in.
ST. FRANCIS PRAYER SERVICE
The St. Francis
Prayer Service will be on October 6th at 8:30 a.m. We encourage
everyone to bring their pets for a blessing. Please remember that
all pets need to be leashed and/or contained in a cage. This
is a very special and fun blessing that takes place and grows each
year. We encourage you to come and be part of it. The prayer
service is always scheduled for outside. Should that change we will
let you know.
