KINDERGARTEN SCHEDULE ON WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 23RD

KEEPING WARM IN WINTER
The preschool would like to share some information
they received from Violet Anderson, chairperson of the preschool's recent
coat and blanket drive. Many of you contributed to this worthy
effort by providing warm blankets and clothing for the preschool's
"Outreach Ministry in Burnside". Mike Quinn, a staff
member at the ministry, expressed their sincere gratitude for St. Clare's
generosity.
Violet took in 17 large garbage bags full of
donations. Thank you, Violet! The staff of the
Outreach Ministry in Burnside said her timing was great, and gave her a
tour of the sorting table and cubbies where they keep everything by
size. The cupboards were bare except for some odd shoes so our
donation was just in time and would be well-used. They are very
appreciative of what the St. Clare community does to keep folks warm
during the cold winter months. Violet was able to see firsthand and
share with us how very important our contributions are, and how they
touch the lives of real people in need. A
heartfelt thanks to all who contributed to this drive and who
continue to give wherever they see a need.
