Procurement

Win, Win, Win!!  Please submit your procurement forms as soon as possible.   Remember, all forms turned in by December 1st will qualify for a $150 prize.  

 

Wish List:

Sign-up parties – Are you a wannabe chef?  Do you have a great house for entertaining?  Are you a super party organizer?  Well, let us know and we can put together a great sign-up event or party.  For example, a Lasertag party (adults or middle schoolers), a wine tasting party, a progressive dinner – there are so many options.

Electronic equipment --  Big screen TV’s, home theater components, Ipods, etc.

Airline/hotel certificates

Do you know someone who could donate the printing for our auction invitations this year?  We are looking for a printer that can help us get ready to send out 1300 Carnaval invites.  If you can help us out, or know someone who can, please contact Bridget Lefor at mblefor@pol.net.

BECKY HOGAN

Becky Hogan will be our new BASC bookkeeper.  Becky has been a preschool parent for the last five years.  Before making the decision to stay home with her two daughters five years ago, Becky was a corporate accountant in the high-tech industry.  She received her BA in Economics from the University of California at Davis.  Becky replaces Chris Reid, who recently took on a full time job.  Becky will be responsible for tracking BASC payments and preparing monthly invoices. 

 

If you see Becky down in the BASC area please welcome her to St. Clare School

 

MEIER AND FRANK CHARITY DAY TICKETS

Thanks go to everyone who participated in the Meier and Frank Charity Day Ticket Affair.  Over $600 was raised for this year's auction raffle. 

 

PICTURE RETAKES

Before the question is asked, you should be receiving your pictures well before the picture retake day.  Picture retakes have been scheduled for Monday, November 14th and will be taken in the school library.  Only those students needing retakes should be in free dress on that day.  If you were absent for picture day this would be the time to have your picture taken.  If you need another picture form, you may pick one up in the office.  PM kindergarten students wanting a retake will need to be here at 8:30 a.m. and then taken either back home or to daycare until their afternoon session.  You will need to bring back your entire picture packet (less the class photo) and hand it back to the photographer before getting your retakes.

 

SCRIP NEWS

BAD WEATHER OR SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT REMINDER

If St. Clare should have an emergency school closure due to inclement weather or any other emergency please check out our website. Emergency information will be scrolled across the top of the home page.  You may also watch for news on the following TV stations, KOIN, KATU, KGW, KPTV and radio stations, KXL, KEX and K103.  Also, please make sure your student is dressed according to the weather when leaving the house in the morning.
