PLANTS ARRIVE SOON! 
The New Leaf Greenhouse will
deliver the plants that were ordered on Thursday, May 12 around 10:00 a.m. Parents are free to pick up plants at school
pick-up time that day. Please make every
effort to pick up what you ordered. Any
plants left beyond Thursday will be placed in the school hallway
downstairs. The sooner you pick them up,
the fresher they’ll be!
FURNITURE

If you would like to buy a desk
or chair, please contact Sr. Moe. Desks
will sell for $10, and chairs for $5.
SUMMER
READING 2005
Summer
Reading Starts June 1st. Discover some
fun at the public library this summer!
Beginning June 1st, kids of all ages (babies to teens) can sign up for
Multnomah County Library’s Summer Reading program. Participants may read on their own, be read
to by someone else, or even listen to books on tape or CD. Sign up and learn how to play at your local
library or online at www.multcolib.org/summer/.
(Information online is in English and Spanish). Players keep track of their reading to earn
T-shirts and other prizes; those who finish the game will be entered into the
grand prize drawing for a trip for four to
The three-month
Summer Reading program also includes a wide array of fun, free events for
children and families. Local libraries
will offer stories, music, crafts, magic and lots of other activities all
summer long. Programs start the second
weekend in June.

Reading starts June 1st and you are invited!

St. Clare CYO Board Meeting - Recruiting Volunteers The St. Clare CYO Board will be meeting
at 7:00 pm, Sunday, May 15th in the school cafeteria. We are recruiting
volunteers for next school year to assist with the St. Clare athletic programs
that are supported through CYO. If you would like to learn more
about our CYO programs and how you can participate, please attend on May 15th
or contact Steve Seguin at 503.891.0145.
05-06 Supply
Lists
As promised,
the 05-06 school supply lists are available for those early shoppers who want
to get a head start. A copy can be
picked up in the office or downloaded from our website under forms.
SCRIP NEWS
Check
out the Special Order form included in this week’s Tuesday envelope. Orders are due May 20 & ready by May
27. This is the last special order of
the school year.
May
is Customer Appreciation Month. If you
purchase over $500 during the month of May, you will receive a $10 Starbucks
gift card. If you purchase over $250,
you will receive a $6 certificate to Krispy Kreme. All prizes will be distributed in early June.
And
yes, here is another plea to purchase Scrip.
As of 3/31/05, our profit is down 3.8 % YTD so we only have a little
time left this school year to catch up!

CLARE ART FAIR
We still need some more help to hang art on May 25th
for our annual Fabulous St. Clare Art Fair.
