to shop and would still like to help, please consider sending a cash
donation, check made payable to St. Clare Church or Fred Meyer SCRIP to
the parish office. If you have any questions or need shopping

Annual St. Clare
Caroling and Chili Supper
Sunday, December 18
3:00-6:00 p.m.
Parish Hall
Don’t miss this opportunity to take a break from the stresses of
the holiday season and enjoy a festive St. Clare Advent tradition!
Plan to bring holiday cheer to our homebound parishioners by
caroling at their homes and local retirement centers on Sunday, December
18. Meet at the parish hall at 3:00pm to divide into groups,
receive songbooks and proceed to the caroling locations. Then
return to the parish hall to warm-up with homemade chili and a mug of hot
cider.
Carolers, chili cooks and cookie bakers are needed to make this
event happen. Please sign-up at the east church exit or send Laurie
Zupsic an email at ldzupsic@yahoo.com
if you plan to participate.

HOLIDAY BABYSITTING
Ages 2 - 10 years old (new rates)
With the aid of
adult supervision, the eighth graders will be providing childcare for
parents needing free time to shop. The cost is $20 per session for
first child, $15 for the second child and the third child is free.
The offered sessions will be:
Saturday, December
17th 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Sunday, December
18th 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
There will be
light snacks at all sessions. Please contact the preschool at
503.244.5458 for reservations. Payment is required at the time
reservations are made. You may also download the reservation form
from the school website. It is in the "Quick Links" box
under "forms". Download, attach your payment, and return
to the preschool and start planning your strategy for making it to all
the places you need to go in one of the four hour sessions.

CHRISTMAS EVE CHILDREN'S MASS
We need children ages three
through eight to help set the crib at the 4:00 p.m. Mass on Christmas Eve
and families to be ushers and greeters. Please contact Kathy

A JANUARY MORNING OF RECOLLECTION
Mark your calendars for Saturday, January 28, 2006,
8:30am to 12:30pm for a Men’s Morning of Recollection at St. Clare led by
Father Tom and Team. Yes, it will start with breakfast again.
