COLLECTIVELY, THEY READ 1,000 BOOKS!
	First graders were treated to a pizza party for reading 1,000 books this year! Imagine how many they will have read by the time they graduate from St. Clare! Mrs. Napoli started this little challenge and our ready-to-be-second graders happily met their mark. I’m sure Mrs. Price and Ms. “A” offered more than a few motivational speeches! Congratulations to the whole group. I hope all of our students are eager to read lots of books for pleasure over the summer months. It’s easy to lose ground when children don’t read or write for two and a-half months, so please keep this in mind. Everyone, K-8, should be writing, reading and doing some math at least once a week throughout the summer. -Sr. Moe-
