Fundraising Chairs For Next Year

Kathleen

Discussion:  Jamie Price and Heidi Brown are staying on as the Jogathon chairs for next year. Erin Miskimins has expressed an interest in becoming more involved with school activities. Kathleen spoke to her and she will be helping out Jamie and Heidi with the Jogathon this year. Script co-chairs Bridget LeFor and Jeanne Rafferty would like to have the Script co-chair position become exempt from PIP fees.  Currently, Bridget the chair is exempt but Jean who puts 130 hours into the Script program is not exempt.

Sr. Moe would like to get a stated job description from each person on the fundraising committees.

Conclusions: We need to send out via Dragon Post or e-mail that we need volunteers; stressing how important it is to raise money for the school and our kids. (once we find out what positions will be open)

Action items: We voted on making both the Script chair and co-chair positions exempt from PIP fees.  It was a unanimous vote to exempt both Script chairs from paying PIP fees. Becky will let Bridget and Jeanne know of our decision and verify if they are coming back next year.

Auction 2009

Kathleen

Discussion:   We need to look at finding people to fill the positions of the 2009 auction.  We decided to wait and approach people after the auction. Maybe even have a sign up at the Couple’s Party since we canceled the Martini Party this year.

Catholic Schools Conference

Kathleen

Discussion Erin DeKlotz the PTC co-chair at Holy Redeemer contacted Kathleen and Laura about having an afternoon conference. It would be a Catholic community meeting that would share ideas on fundraising, internet safety and sustainability. It was decided that we would like to participate and if anyone had any ideas of things we would want to talk about email either Kathleen or Laura. Sr. Moe would like to get a presentation put together on internet safety; with professional speakers who know about this problem.

Sr. Moe

Discussion:  Joe Westin a graduate of All Saints sent a letter that he will match $6,000 towards tuition assistance. We need to advertise so people will know; also if another family member is going to contribute towards tuition assistance we will need verification by check or visa.

SAC state of the school pizza and beer night went really well—will do again next year.
