HOMEWORK CONTRACT

This contract is designed to work closely with the St. Clare teachers, BASC families, and BASC staff.

Our goal is to coordinate efforts to create the best learning environment for your child: an environment that supports

and encourages learning throughout the day, and focuses on the positive achievements and efforts your child is making.

We have created this contract as a guideline to assist BASC staff in your child’s homework assistance needs.

Please note that while one on one attention is always desired it may not be available at all times, and our main goal to

help your child manage their homework time. We are not a tutoring service, but will do our best to help your child be

successful after school.

Please decide as a family what you homework expectations will be after school. We will be offering homework assistance regularly

from 4:00 - 5:00 every day, but homework can be done throughout the afternoon and BASC staff will make themselves available for

questions and assistance during those times. Once desired homework sessions are completed, children will be “checked off” for the day.

Consistent and extra homework efforts may result in BASC recognition and rewards.

By signing below, families are committing to the above homework efforts.

Participation and completion will be monitored daily by BASC staff.

Progress updates will be given on a regular basis, both to classroom teachers and parents.
