EMERGENCY DROP-IN CARE FOR ST. CLARE STUDENTS

Emergency drop-in care is a St. Clare policy for any student who has not been picked up by 3:20pm (2:20 on Tuesdays). The child will be escorted to BASC and will remain there until an authorized parent or guardian arrives. All families will be called and notified immediately if their child has been brought to BASC. Copies of their emergency/medical information will be on file, and parents will be required to fill out a BASC registration form at the time of arrival. The first unscheduled use of the daycare program will result in a $5 registration fee, plus hourly rate of $5/hour. If there is a second non-scheduled use of BASC, parents must pay the balance owing on registration ($30), plus hourly rate of $5/hour. Fees will not be pro-rated down to the number of minutes used. Drop-in fees are a flat fee for all St. Clare families.

Furthermore, if you find yourself needing emergency drop-in care, please notify BASC directly at 503-244-8747 instead of notifying Patty in the front office. This way we can directly plan for your child’s attendance and let you know the attendance status for the afternoon.
