A birthday is such an important event in a child’s life it deserves to be celebrated in the classroom. On your child’s birthday he/she may wear free dress to school. He/She will get to make a special birthday crown to wear during the day. Parents may send a treat which should be a store prepared food item. We are not allowed to serve home-baked goods in school, and not all children are able to bring treats. Please check with me before bringing any food.

Should you like to purchase a “gift” for the class to remember your child’s birthday, may I suggest a book for our class library. I have created a list of suggestions for you to work from.
