8^th Grade Happenings Page Return to Home

It’s Third Trimester and the end of the year events are coming at us rapidly. The students all seem to know where they are

Headed for high school, and they are still working hard (mainly) here at St. Clare to finish strong.

Our eighth grade retreat plans are coming together. The overnight event will be held on May 18-19 at the Milwaukie

Evangelical Retreat Center. The permission slips have been send home and are due back to me with the

$70.00 fee by Wednesday, April 23. I still need parents to contact me to let me know who can drive for and chaperone

this event.

Congratulations to Nate Alvey, winner of the St. Clare Geography Bee. He

Took a written test in January to see if he will qualify for the Oregon State

Geography Bee in April and he did! Nate participated in the Oregon State

Geography Bee April 4 and did very well competing against mainly older

students. Way to go Nate!
