Ms. Harmeyer’s Ticket System
6th and 7th
Grades
Objective:
Students will be better prepared for class and ready to learn because
they will be prepared for class and working toward a common reward by
accumulating tickets for a two-week period.
How It Works:
1.
Each student will receive 6 tickets for the week. Students need to put their
names on the back of their tickets.
2.
Students will “redeem” a ticket for certain purposes (as listed, but not
limited to):
©
going
back to locker to get needed materials, textbooks, supplies, books, binders,
etc.;
©
using
the restroom after class has started;
©
getting
a drink of water down the hall;
3.
At the end of the week, I will collect all the remaining tickets from students.
I will give another six tickets the following week.
4.
At the end of the second week, I will again collect the remaining tickets. If
we collect 280 tickets (6th grade) or 260 tickets (7th grade)
at the end of our two-week period, the class will be rewarded. Rewards may
include (but are not limited to):
©
extra
recess small
snack homework pass
©
free
time in the classroom bonus points pass
©
extra
silent reading time pencil,
pen, or stickers
If
we don’t reach our goal of 280 tickets (6th grade) or 260 tickets (7th
grade), I will conduct a raffle for prizes out of the prize box with those
tickets that are collected.
5.
We will collect tickets on Fridays regardless of absent people. We will count
only those tickets collected; I will not accept the tickets of absent people
after the collection time. We have to meet the goal on the day we collect
tickets.
