Policies and Procedures

Students are allowed to use any
color pen when taking notes in their notebooks during class.
¨
Typed work needs to always be double spaced or space and ˝.
Also, a complete heading should always be included on the top, right-hand
margin – the student’s name, the date of the assignment, the class, the
assignment name. Typed assignments can be emailed to me if there are printing
problems at home.
¨
Typically, I do not assign homework
on Friday that is due on Monday. (The exception to this might be religion
assignments that require parent input.) Sometimes it will be due on Tuesday,
but the students then have the option of working over the weekend or on Monday
night. Long-term assignments will occasionally incorporate weekends. Long-range
planning is crucial.

I try to give a minimum of two days
notice before a test is scheduled.
