Homework |
|
Homework is a chance to practice and reinforce the material that we have learned in school. If in-class assignments are not finished during the school day, it is expected that students will take their work home to be completed. Students should spend about 45 minutes on homework each night (Monday through Thursday). In addition to the allotted homework time, students should be reading each night, for no less than 25 minutes. All assignments will be written daily in the homework assignment notebook, which may be purchased through the office. Students will be responsible for writing down their daily homework assignments, which are posted in the front of the classroom. Ample time will be given for this at the end of each day and students will be guided through the process.
All homework should be neat, complete, on time, and written in cursive. Some pieces of homework will be graded on a certain amount of points based on accuracy, while others will receive full credit (check mark = 10 points). The same goes for in-class assignments. |
