First Grade Memory Book

A few years ago, we started making First Grade Memory books for each child to take home at the end of the year. The book contains one page for each month of the school year. Each page contains a poem that the children memorize and copy. Each page also contains a photograph of the child taken that month, as well as a small piece of art depicting something seasonal that month (leaf in September, pumpkin in October, etc.). Each page would probably also contain the name of a special character value we had worked on that month (Respect, Responsibility, Kindness, etc.)

We also tie-dye class t-shirts signed by each child in the class. The last page of our Memory Book would probably contain our class picture when we are all wearing our tie-dyed t-shirts.
